Honduras Próspera announced today that the Honorable Jens Janik, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Honduras, visited the Roatán Próspera development for extensive discussions with Próspera executives. He was joined by Mrs. Dara Erazo, Directora Ejecutiva de la Cámara de Comercio e Industria Hondureño-Alemana.
Ambassador Janik is one of a number of foreign dignitaries and international business leaders who have visited Roatán Próspera to learn more about the Próspera development and governance structure put in place to guarantee and protect human and labour rights and attract foreign investment.
The delegation and Próspera’s senior team discussed a number of topics including Próspera’s plans for the Roatán development and the opportunities offered to German companies to participate in a variety of ventures in the area of commerce, education, science and research; that would support the economic growth on the island while creating jobs for Hondurans and working alongside Honduran Institutions. The visitors also toured the project site and met with the members of the local community working with Próspera.
Concluding the visit, the Ambassador said: “ The German Embassy is keen on getting a full picture of Próspera development. After visiting the project in person, I am happy with this valuable experience on the ground in Roatán. ”
